Lorraine Faulds retired from the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW) where she was a Workforce Intelligence Coordinator.
Her concentration was in exposing educators to data to help students make good college and/or career decisions. She was one of the agency's leading trainers having presented to 2,081 people in 31 presentations during 2016 and 1,281 attendees in 33 presentations in 2017.
She also developed presentations and a voice-over script for five modules about labor market information which was made mandatory to new employees in 2017.
Lorraine will continue her 28-year involvement with workforce development by sitting on the Business Advisory Committee for Richland County School District Two.
Lorraine retired in November 2017 and is looking for a part-time "encore career" in animal care. She continues to assist rescue groups with transporting animals from shelters to foster or permanent homes. In 2017, she made 21 trips, moving 29 dogs, four kittens, and one disabled goat!
If you are interested in having someone on your team who is mature, reliable, flexible, has a fine-tuned ability to multi-task, and has hard-earned customer service experience, Lorraine is the one you want.
