Turn it Up/Caught in the Act Awards from SC Department of Employment and Workforce: Caught in the Act is a “Turn It Up” Award that is designed to recognize fellow employees in an easy and convenient manner. Any employee can send a Caught in the Act Award to another employee or manager to convey thanks or compliment anyone who has a positive attitude toward work duties, co-workers, and the public, serves as a model for others, is productive, exhibits commitment to quality carrying out job responsibilities, and is an asset to other employees. Lorraine received five Turn it Up/Caught in the Act awards in 2012.

Employee Recognition Award from the SC Employment Security Commission: Lorraine was asked to join the Local Office Support Team which assisted local offices and customers during a period of extraordinarily high workload.  Members of the team had little to no experience in the field but "provided invaluable service." She received this award in 2009.

SC IAWP Hall of Fame from the SC Chapter of IAWP/IAPES: The Hall of Fame permanently recognizes a group of South Carolina IAWP members whose accomplishments within the association have been outstanding. “Lorraine has served our chapter for 15 years. Our newsletter has won first place nationally for the past 6 years. She is always available if I need advice concerning IAWP matters."  Lorraine was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2003.

Individual Award of Merit from IAWP/IAPES: The purpose of the Award of Merit is to recognize exceptional service in the employment and training field.  This service may include not only job performance, but also involvement in professional and community organizations.  “I have never seen service, to the agency, community and IAPES, that better exemplifies the standards of the Award of Merit that than of Lorraine Faulds.” Lorraine won this award in 1995.
